1 - Role and responsibilities of a supervisor

Understanding what your main responsibilities are is very important. To know how to be successful in your role you need to know what’s expected of you and what your key duties and responsibilities are. The first section of this training looks at what is the role of supervisors in the meat industry.

There are two sections to this module:

  1. the key responsibilities
  2. the key supervisory skills.

When you have finished this module you will:

  1. understand the key duties and responsibilities that you have as supervisor, foreman, or leading hand in your company
  2. understand what key skills you need to be successful in this role.
