Personnel performing these tasks must be aware of the movement and proximity of other workers to avoid being splashed or splashing others.

Warning hot water hot enough to sterilise is hot enough to cause serious painful injury requiring medical treatment

Placing others at risk by “playing” or “horse play” with hot water could lead to disciplinary action being taken.
